iPods are great and we particularly love the iPod shuffle - it's small AND it can hang around your neck. With a little creativity and a Crystal Couture treatment, your iPod Shuffle becomes a fashion accessory, catching the eye of everyone around you. When we have a 'crystalized' iPod Shuffle around our necks and head out the door, we got a ton of great compliments.

The iPod shuffle is a great item to stone. (Pictured on Crystal Couture.) It’s small so the process is quick. It has straight lines, so it’s easy and fun. When you finish, it’s a very cute piece of jewelry as well as your favorite source for music! We recommend using stone size 9 or 12. Given you are working on a small item using small stones you need to be very careful and methodical. Pace yourself, take frequent breaks, provide good lighting and work with a buddy.

Here’s how to get started:

First decide how much of your shuffle you want to cover. Refer to the table below.

• Partial coverage

Next decide on the stone size

• 9ss allows for a more complex and detailed design and a smooth even look
• 12ss takes less time to apply than 9ss and still looks very nice

Next decide what you want to do on your shuffle and draw out a pattern

Finally select your colors

• We carry over 40 colors. You can do your entire shuffle in one color or mix and match as many colors as you choose. Our kits are very versatile. Refer to coverage chart and price range below. These are estimates based on our experience stoning shuffles. Follow our instructions and read the Tips and Tricks section. (Note: 9ss stones come in a limited number of colors.)
